Indiana Case Studies

Brevini PowerEast Central Indiana is celebrating a significant win for its advanced manufacturing sector. The Brevini Company recently announced it will relocate its U.S. headquarters and build its first U.S. manufacturing facility in Delaware County. The Italian manufacturer will invest more than $60 million and bring at least 455 jobs to East Central Indiana. More importantly, local economic leaders say it will give the area an unprecedented competitive edge and the opportunity to attract even more investment from around the globe.

Governor Mitch Daniels joined executives from plastics packaging producer TriEnda LLC today to announce the company's plans to locate a manufacturing operation in the former Thomson Manufacturing center here, creating more than 340 new jobs by 2012.

The maker and distributor of thermoformed plastic pallets, trays and materials handling and packaging products plans to invest more than $20 million to site a 200,000-square-foot manufacturing and distribution center at the former center in the northeast Indiana city.
