Faber-Castell to Open Cosmetic Manufacturing Facility in Elgin
Marks the German company’s first facility in North America
The Illinois State’s commitment to international trade was highlighted in November when seven Illinois companies exhibited at the MEDICA Trade fair- the premier international event for medical devices and diagnostics. The Illinois Office of Trade and Investment first brought companies to exhibit at this trade fair in 1996. Since then MEDICA has proven to be an outstanding platform to introduce Illinois’ competitive and innovative devices to the European and international market.
Exports are a vital component of the Illinois economy and an important factor for continued economic growth. The State of Illinois takes great pride in its export successes, which is why the Governor’s Export Awards were established to recognize small and medium-sized businesses and organizations that work to promote export awareness for Illinois’ products and services.
